Supported by funding from the Green Communities Act and local utility incentives, the upgrades represent a significant investment in smarter, safer buildings. For Custom Electric, they are also marquee projects that showcase the firm’s ability to integrate advanced controls into educational environments. “We are part of a project team that’s helping them do that—it’s a significant investment for the schools,” Balster explains. “It’s a very interesting and engaging project, and one that we are very proud of.”
